About the Studio

See Sound Studio can be found in building 14 (Magazijn 14), on the second floor (which is called de 2E Verdieping) at the old Hembrug factory (it used to be one of three Dutch ammunition factories). The studio was purposely build for writing, recording and mixing sounddesign and music for film and other media. There are possibilities for the recording of solo instruments but also for ensembles together.

About Wiebe

I grew up listening to my mother practicing Bach cantates in the living room while watching The A-team on television. Must have sparked something haha...Love making music and I also fell in love with film. I played in many bands before I scored my first TV-commercial. From then went onto scoring lots of (international) projects:from (animated) TV series to short film to documentaries, podcasts museum exhibitions

I play quite a few instruments by now and studied music composition and cinematic orchestration at Thinkspace under guydance (pun intended) of Guy Michelmore (a well known British film and television composer).

I try to find a musical language for the story that emerges from the sounds and sounddesign in the film and helps to tell (the emotional part of the) story in an unobtrusive, compelling but natural way.
